    ModShoot’s ExoBRINK #1 CUP Delayed!

We were planning to have the cup held this coming Sunday. However, due to the group stages of the ESL being held on the same day we have decided to postpone the event for a couple of weeks.

We would like to apologise for any issues this may cause the people planning to participate. However we believe to achive the best results during this cup it needs to not clash with any other major events within the brink community.

The ExoBRINK #1 will still go ahead… We are now in talks with a recognised name in cups, leauges and ladders and expect to have more news in the coming days.

Finally, We would like to wish all the teams taking part in these group stages this coming Sunday the best of luck.

Thank you for your understanding in this matter.

    Regards

    mousesports picks up 2stroNg!

Today (well, yesterday..) is a very good day as the G7-team mousesports (mouz), officially ventures into Brink as they pick up the talented and much heard of gentlemen in 2stroNg.

Today is a very good day. We’ve officially signed onto mouz and we couldn’t be happier. We’ve had some wake up calls in the past few days and now signing onto mouz - our motivation couldn’t be higher. We are so excited to have this opportunity and we’re all over the moon right now. Our first matches under the mouz name will be in the ESL Championship Group Stages, where we will be looking to make the mousesports name proud. At this time, we’d like to thank all of mouz management, especially Cengiz and René. A big shoutout to Benjamin Diener. Also shoutouts to all of mouz’s sponsors. Catch you on the playing field!

Great news as this might become an eyeopener for some other big organizations. Earlier on we did mention the fact mouz were looking to recruit a Brink squad and we did believe 2stroNg were among the better teams in a good position of making it to mouz. But the road have been somewhat bumpy with default losses here and there but they made it to the ESL championship via the Last Chance Qualifier and here they are..

    - The oh so happy new mouz-lineup:
    Josh “josh” Lee
    Evgeny “GENY” Kurabtsev
    Timo “Taimou” Kettunen
    Basti “kNALLER” Winklmeyer
    Michael “micHiiii” Rosen

    Best of luck guys!

    designate k1cking it Brink

The Polish team designate have been picked up by the Portuguese-based organization k1ck eSports Club. A very positive step forward, not just for them but for the Brink scene as whole.

We are really happy to be part of k1ck family and I’m sure we’ll do our best to represent k1ck in the best way we can. We’ve been playing together for quite a while, some of us know each other from Counter-Strike 1.5 days but mostly we’ve been playing together under the tag of wiechury/designate/default in ET:QW, with big success in such leagues like clanbase and esl, in tournaments such as Eurocup (2nd place), ESL Major Series top 5 and won many other tournaments hosted by those leagues.

We are seeded 4th at the ESL Brink Championship and we are looking forward to our next games. So keep the fingers crossed and wish us good luck and have fun.

    k1ck.Brink consist of:
    soee (Team Leader and Backup)
    bhn
    aA
    suri
    zielarz
    mojojo

Best of luck from the BRINKish crew guys.

18:14 ESL|kevin16king • P1lote is the team founder, he claimed his teamaccount back and is free to invite or kick people how he would like to do

Let’s start right in the middle of the action. P1lote, founder of this esl account, was earlier kicked from 2stroNg. Legitimate IRC -sources are saying that p1lote on the other hand requested an esl admin to invite him back to 2strong which was orginaly formed by himself, and claimed admin rights to himself. The log showes that he started kicking the players who actually qualified for the esl tournament and invited new players to the team.

Stay tuned for the next episode of how to brink a drama!

    ***UPDATE***

BRINKish had the chance to talk to P1loTE (exclusively)

here is what he had to say:

    18:48 - P1loTE: their fault
    18:48 - P1loTE: xD
    18:48 - P1loTE: schreib
    18:48 - caliban` brink mix?!: oh okay
18:48 - P1loTE: das ist mein team  Translation: That’s my team
18:48 - P1loTE: also kann ich damit tun und lassen was ich will Translation: That is why i can do what ever i want
    18:48 - P1loTE: :)
    18:49 - P1loTE: +
    8:48 - P1loTE: :)
    18:49 - P1loTE: cy@
    18:49 - caliban` brink mix?!: okay;>
    18:49 - P1loTE: danke  Translation: Thanks
    18:49 - P1loTE: :D

What he is saying is basically that it is his team and he can do what ever he wants with it.

    ***UPDATE***

As you all know a drama consists of 5 acts and it seems like this one just got into the 4th, the turning point, but will it also be the ending? For now it seems that the old players are rejoining the team.

    http://www.esl.eu/eu/brink/5on5/last_chance/team/log/5901874/

It’s been known for quite some time now, Team Dignitas will use most of their W:ET-team, along with their past ET:QW-star bjorn and former BFBC2-Epsilon player Rulah and the organization finally decided to make the BRINKish.eu number one ranked Brink team official.

    Sebastian “drago” Ohrmann
    Hendrik-William “Anderson” Kinks
    Jaka “JaKaZc” Kejzar
    Jesper “Rulah” Sundell
    Bjorn “bjorn” Rombaut

Mousesports looking for a Brink Team *

You just heard right! Yesterday, the german powerhouse Mousesports announced that probably one of the last 4 teams of the German Qualifier is going to play under the banner of Mousesports.

With only 12 teams remaining, soon we will know which team will make the big jump (just like a parkour one).

Time for speculations now! Will the former Power Gaming-team transform into a brinkish mice?! Discuss.

    29.05.11 15:23h Power Gaming change_name  2stroNg

    German qualifier @ ESL

    The last 12 teams are:
    Team Hardware4u
    Insert Coins
    The Unit
    MTF.Gaming e.V.
    causeWEcan
    Brinkts?
    iPLAY
    notag
    teamwod.de
    Heaven-Thunder-Storm
2stroNg (formerly known as Power Gaming)
    Team-siLence

    *UPDATE
One of the contenders we believed might’ve been the one, 2stroNg - the 2nd highest ranked German team on our Top 10-list, were today ruled out of the qualifier. This after Brinkts? submitted a protest against 2stroNg after their game was played, which they won due to one of the 2stroNg-players forgot to reconnect to ESL Wire. This means they are out and will have to get their revenge in the upcoming ESL second chance tourney.

    The Next Evolution of .ET

nevoWith players all descending from the W:ET-scene the Dutch guys in BRINKTEAM.ET have made some good progress in the ESL Brink Championship so far beating the likes of H2k Gaming and reaching the UB-final where they will face Team Dignitas tonight.

Their progress have been picked up by the UK-based organization Next Evolution (nevo) whom the former BRINKTEAM.ET as of today joined forces with.

    Dryads riZe to the occasion

With a good kick start in the Brink ESL Championship former Dryads have joined up with riZe Gaming.

We’ve all known riZe since back in the SoF2 days and everyone knows that they’ve always been one of the top UK organisations on the scene, having had some of the best teams in Europe playing for them. This being said, we’re over the moon to see them return and are very honored to be the first team that they pick up in their move back into gaming.

Thanks to riZe and Rize Nexus we have all the support we need and we’ll be working extremely hard for upcomming LANS and Online events. The team is also planning to attend i43 if it hosts Brink.. so fingers crossed!

    riZe Gaming lineup:
    Kieran Jary as Jeebs
    Jack Allsopp as Mosphe
    Riyad Lucy as Envr
    Lee Robinson as HippY

BRINKish.eu wants to wish these lads the best of luck and also welcome riZe Gaming back to e-Sports.

Another team with their roots mainly in the W:ET (and the CoD4 ditto to some extent) -scene have made the jump to Brink. With some rather known faces g5 presents their brand new Brink-lineup consisting of a mix of two Brits, one German and two Belgian players.

They’ve also decided to bring some friendly backups with them in Snuble, Skydeh, Goso and h3lix

Best of luck from the BRINKish crew to the g5’s.

    H2k Gaming with Brink Team

H2K Gaming wants to brink on top with a mix of et and cod players.

    Statement by HELLY:

“After some talk here and there and discussions amongst the team of where we wanted to go with this team, we quickly agreed that H2k Gaming was the fitting organisation we needed. This team is a mix of experience in ET and COD with a friendship in common. We are going to do our best to represent H2k Gaming in as many ways as possible and to put down as many results as we can.

We would like to thank H2k Gaming for giving us this opportunity and giving us the trust and motiviation for a new game like Brink.

    Infused.Tt present their Brink team

UK-based Infused move two players from their 5th ranked and newly crowned i42 TF2-champions to Brink (creating Infused.TteSports). This, along with several other recognized names means we got ourselves a strong candidate to pole position in Brink even before the game is released.

    Statement by nVc:
“As of right now we’re just a few infused players looking to try our hands at Brink, and the door to a future with infused hasn’t been opened nor closed, as it really depends on how we find the game to play. The team I’ve built all has commitments to other games - for example my TF2 team has 2 LAN’s in the next 2 Months… so call it more “testing the water”.”

    The lineup:
nvc” and “Greg” - infused.Tt TF2, “Antyy” - TCM.TF2, “vorpal” - he used to play with in Team UK Quake Live, and “Arcy” - who has so much time to play this game he’s bound to be a good player, but came from a TF2 background as he was in the TF2 team that won i41 with the current lineup. We’re also looking for 1 more player, perhaps we can convince Pansy from the Infused.Tt COD4 team! But as i say, it’s a fun team for the opening tournaments, a small break away from our usual games, nothing is long term or permenant.

Great news for the Brink(ish) community. We wish them best of luck!
