BRINKish.eu suffered a major setback during the spring of 2011 which is why all our content from 2009, 2010 and early 2011 is missing. We apologize for the inconvenience caused by this.
While we are working on making the best possible site for competitive Brink coverage we will use this fully functional site to keep you updated on what's going on in the BRINKish world with our main focus on Europe and the competitive scene on PC.

The first major setback has arrived for the competitive Brink PC community. While some were suddenly having issues with recoding demos in Brink (when some had been able to earlier on) Splash Damage Lead Production Tester, Stephen “Crispy” Etheridge gave them a rather abrupt answer.
Demo recording is not supported in Brink
Exactly why this is suddenly a fact there is no telling. There was a command, that’s now disabled. Why? Splash Damage should be well awere on the fact PC gamers are used to be able to record their own demos as it’s used not only to prevent people from cheating but to record fragmovies, trickmovies and what not.
Splash Damage have, just a day ago, made clear that if there’s something the public want they are willing to listen and add functions to make the game better - this should apply on the demo-function as well. It’s a must to have and hopefully this is nothing more then Splash Damage currently sorting out some issues they are having with the demo-function and something they will bring back in a short future.
* UPDATE
Gladly, Splash Damage and Brink Lead Tools Programmer Jared “jRAD” Hefty gave us a quick answer and it was just what BRINKish hoped for.
Not currently supported in Brink.
So, there it is ladies and gentlemen - it will be back!
BRINKish thanks to Campez for notifying us on this..
